FRP Columns and other products from DecoForm are available from Interior Supply.

DecoForm manufactures quality, molded interior and exterior architectural components. Any projects involving repetitive, linear or modular shapes are prime candidates for using DecoForm products. Their products come in five different materials:

• GlassFiber Reinforced Gypsum (GRG)
• GlassFiber Reinforced Cement (GRC)
• Cassel Molded Stone
• SandScape FRP Faux Sandstone/Limestone

GlassFiber Reinforced Gypsum

These producs are thin walled with parts made from a high density alpha gypsum matrix reinforced with glassfibers, and cast in custom molds. The parts are light weight and are made for almost any configuration for interior use. GRG is easily installed and finished with a monolithic look using regular tools and finishes. Common examples are column covers, capitals, bases, cornices, moldings, pilasters, reflectors, light coves, domes, diffusers, and vaults.

GlassFiber Reinforced Cement

GRC parts thin-walled and are made from a high density cementitious matrix reinforced with glassfibers, and cast in custom molds. The parts are relatively light weight and are made for almost any configuration for mainly exterior applications. GRC is easily installed and finished with regular tools and finishes. Common examples are column covers, capitals, bases, cornices, moldings, pilasters, planters, and balustrades.

Cassel Molded Stone

Cassel is a good fit where you need a "stone" look for an interior application. It provides the advantages of GRG's lightweight and thin walled structure, but comes pre-finished in a range of several standard "colors", featuring the texture and joint details of real stone. Common examples are column covers, capitals, bases, pilasters, sconces, and wall panels.

Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester (FRP)

Durable, exterior/interior architectural components are manufactured from polyester resin reinforced with fiberglass, and cast from specially made molds. FRP is a thin walled (~3/16" nom) material that is made to almost any configuration, and is easily installed by site trades using normal jobsite tools. Components are typically available paint-ready in a matte finish, but can be supplied with a gloss finish, and in pre-finished colors that can be matched to virtually any non-metallic paint chip. The light weight (~1.50 pounds/SF) results in much larger parts being possible than with competing products, with faster and less expensive installation, requiring no heavy lifting equipment. Common examples are column covers, capitals, bases, cornices, moldings, pilasters.

SandScape

Does your design call for a sandstone or limestone finish for an exterior or interior application? SandScape might be the right solution, and is a very competitive alternative to the real thing. Manufactured in FRP (fiberglass reinforced polyester) with a permanent sand finish, SandScape is often used where traditional stone is too heavy or too expensive. SandScape is available in 2 colors, with lighter and darker custom variations also available.
